roberta received a BA in dance from adelphi university and celebrates a distinguished career as a dance educator for over 25 years. currently, she shares her gift of education as the artistic director of beyondDANCE @ bergenPAC in englewood, nj.

roberta remains on the faculty at steps on broadway has left her mark at american ballet theatre NYC summer intensives. as a guest teacher, she inspires scores of students in countries throughout the world including israel, italy, canada, norway, venezuela and brazil. her magic as a master teacher results in high-spirited, appreciative pupils of all ages. at present, college and university dance programs are hiring roberta for master classes and workshops.

“my goal is to make every one of my students physically strong, mentally focused and technically perfect,” roberta mathes.
